Because Pluto's orbit is eccentric, it has kept pace with Neptune at roughly sixty degrees for an extraordinary stretch, running through most of the twentieth century and onward. Practically every reader alive has it. That fact should be stated first and stated plainly, because an aspect shared by essentially everyone cannot distinguish anybody. Any account of this sextile that flatters the native with special sensitivity or hidden power is describing the human race and charging for it. What the aspect genuinely marks is a long era in which the deep and the formless were cooperative rather than at odds.
It remains readable in one narrow sense. As a sextile it is an offer, and the houses it links show where the offer lies. The eighth and tenth together suggest a public position built on work with crisis. The fourth and sixth, a household that quietly repairs itself through routine. Even so, the effect is faint, and it should never be given more weight in a reading than a personal aspect. The one condition under which it becomes worth discussing is a close personal contact, most usefully to the Sun, the Moon or an angle. That link brings the shared background into the foreground and can give a marked facility for working with what is hidden: illness, addiction, bereavement, buried records, the psychology of crowds. Even then the honest statement is modest. The native has an instrument the whole generation was issued with, and happens to be one of the few positioned to pick it up.
