Moon Trine Neptune

The flow is so smooth it is invisible from the inside. Children and animals settle near this native; strangers tell them things on trains. Their imagination and their feelings were never at odds, so the inner life is unusually peaceful and the sleep is good. Where a square would produce years of confusion about what is real, the trine produces a mild, capacious tolerance that takes almost everything in stride. Other people describe the native as restful. The native, asked to account for it, tends to shrug, because there is no technique underneath it to describe.

That absence of technique is the trap. Nothing here demands development, so the gift stays at the level it reached in adolescence. The native drifts toward the pleasant and away from friction, and mistakes the drifting for equanimity.
