Wanting something plainly is difficult; wanting it on behalf of someone else is easy. This placement moves toward its aims obliquely, through atmosphere and sympathy and a talent for arriving where it needs to be without any visible route. Timing is often uncanny. Plans, on the other hand, dissolve. They will abandon a well-made schedule because the feeling of the day was wrong, and are unable to explain the reason in terms anyone practical will accept, and are frequently proved correct anyway.
Anger does not confront. It leaks. Disappointment appears as vagueness, as forgetting, as agreeing to something and then failing to do it, and the person genuinely does not connect the failure to the resentment underneath it. Directly challenged, they retreat into hurt or vanish for three days. From inside it feels like avoiding a fight that would help nobody. From outside it feels like fog, and people who love them often say they would prefer an argument to another unexplained absence.
The stamina appears when the cause is not their own. Nursing, teaching, performing, caring for the dying, sitting with a friend through a catastrophe; here the effort is inexhaustible and the ordinary hesitation disappears entirely. Escape is the standing risk, in whatever form is available, and this placement should be honest with itself about that early. Trained rather than indulged, the same sensitivity becomes the thing few other placements possess, which is the instinct for when not to act.
