What Does It Mean to Dream About Villages?
To dream of a village represents social interaction with others that feels simple, resistant to change, or accepting of itself being the way it is. No concern for progress or new sophisticated ideas. Social interaction that is unconditionally supportive in ways that may appear unsophisticated. Feelings about the simplicity of family life or local interaction. Isolated social environments. A possible sign that you need to speak up louder about how stupid or primitive you feel people around you are behaving. A possible sign that you need to step outside your normal boundaries for social activity. Eccentricity or unusual ideas.
Negatively, dreaming about a village may reflect views about other people you talk to being simple, primitive, unwilling to accept new ideas. Interaction with less intelligent or sophisticated people who refuse to change. A group mentality that is unsophisticated or inexperienced in progressive thinking. Ignorant people who seemed entranced by new ideas that will never work. Awareness of yourself interacting with inexperienced people who notice what success is, but don't intelligently understand it. Feeling that other people are too accepting of low-standard situations. Feeling embarrassed by people who are involved in something stupid or with lower standards than you. Thinking that you are better than other people who do something less intelligent than you. Intelligent opinions now being listened to.
Example: A young woman dreamed of being a villager who was trying to free other villagers from a cage. In waking life she felt that her boyfriend had a deluded idea that he would win the American Idol tv show and was in shock that his parents were supportive of it when he had no real talent. She couldn't convince anyone to stop supporting him so he would be spared of having huilate himself losing the contest on tv. The village in this case may have reflected her views about feeling trapped in a family social situation that was ignorantly supportive of her boyfriend winning the American Idol contest when he had an unsophisticated view of what it would it take to win the American Idol contest. She felt her boyfriend's family was stupid about supporting him unconditionally.
Example 2: A man dreamed of being in a village. In waking life he had been attending a local library a lot and was insecure that people at the library may have begun to think he was abusing his privileges. The village symbolism in this case may have reflected his feelings about the local neighborhood social interaction at the library.
Example 3: A man dreamed of being in a village. In waking life he felt forced to put up with a coworkers eccentric views. The village in this case may have reflected his feelings about the isolated nature of the work environment which forced him to endure his coworkers eccentric views.
Example 4: A man dreamed of being high in the sky while observing a village below him with villagers walking around. In waking life, he was experiencing a serious medical emergency and was in a coma, with his family and hospital staff by his side trying to save his life. In this case, the village may have represented his feelings about the sense of community provided by his family and medical staff who were unconditionally supportive during his coma.
